Temporary Magnets

If you take a magnet and brush a nail or anything made of iron or steel with the pole of the magnet in one direction, it will become a magnet. Why? Because all things are made of molecules and the molecules in a magnet are facing in the same direction working with each other. When you rub or brush the nail you are making the molecules go in one direction. Then, they will be a magnet, until the molecules go their normal direction.
