Magnets have a north part and a south part called poles. Magnets are strongest at their poles. If you put North and North together they will repell. Same with South and South. I did an experiment with 3 different magnets. I used a ring magnet, a bar magnet, and a u-shaped magnet. I wanted to see which magnet was stronger. I took the magnet and I saw how many paperclips each magnet could hold. The u-shaped magnet was stronger.
